She’s 84 years old, can’t walk much, she can’t even stand for few minutes because she said, “Sumasakit ang tuhod ko” but what caught my attention is her attitude that I think essential for people who want to succeed in everything that you do, “She never gave up!”.
The truth is, Nanay Mila has all the reasons to make an excuse to skip this kind of meeting, besides most would say, “Matanda na sya!” anu pa ba magagawa nya?. May kahinaan na sya (physically speaking) but she proves to me, and I believe all those who always saw her, that she’s even stronger than others. Why? Because “she fights!” She continuously fighting against her situation and always move forward.
She’s always attentive and sitting on the front row. She’s humble and always willing to learn for her growth, but above all, she’s strong in her faith and despite her current situation, “she never gives up!”
At the end of the our meeting, I sit beside her, touch her shoulder and asked her, “Nay kumusta po?; Nakakainspire ka naman po, kasi kahit nahihirapan kana po sa pag lalakad nyo, every monday nakikita padin kita dito, Anu pa pong pinaglalaban nyo? Para po ba yan sayo o sa family mo?”
She smiled back to me and said, “both!”.
Wow! , I said to myself.
But deep inside of me, I was really moved by what she said.
“Si nanay nga di sumusuko, ako pa kaya?” . It will be a great shame for me and you who is younger than her right?.
And then this idea of writing this blog post came in. For me to share to you my learnings in this meeting called “Nation of Leaders”.
By the way, this meeting is made especially for people who wanted to achieve something in life with the help of God. Every Monday there’s a new lesson that will help us to get closer to our dreams, and a whole lot more.
So let’s start …
You have “all” the conditions (gifts/talents) that you need to succeed.
Some have more talents than others but I truly believe that all of us have at least one. Some are in writing, playing musical instruments, singing, dancing, etc. But even this one talent that is like a “seed”, has the power to grow and multiply if we planted it in the right soil, and nourish it daily.
Our talents are the same if we use it rightly, and day after day improve and be better doing it, we will see that sooner or later you are becoming more competent in whatever you do and achieve “step by step” things that you want.
Each day there is something you can do. Each day has an “option” for you to go closer or away from your dreams.
The bible says, “Sow your seed in the morning, and at the evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether both will do equally well”
Ecclesiastes 11:6
Remember:
“The choice of those who are weak is to stop and give up, but the choice of the strong ones is to continue until the end.”
Which group do you want to belong?
Let me know & let’s help one another to move forward…:-)
P.s.: Go and try to search in google the Top 10 Riches man in the Philippines. They all have 3 things in common.
1. They Start Small
2. They became rich in the Philippines

Friend, “Never ever stop fighting”!
Start Small, Dream big, and never ever give up on your dreams (especially if it’s for His higher purpose).
